I get no sound amplification. What should I do?

If you're experiencing limited sound amplification with your glasses, follow these steps:

Step 1: Ensure glasses are powered on
Make sure your glasses are turned on. For help, see: How to turn on/off hearing assistance.

Step 2: Restart the glasses
If sound is still limited, try turning the Glasses off and on again.

Step 3: Factory reset the glasses
If the issue persists, perform a factory reset. See how to reset.

I get limited sound amplification. What should I do?

If you're experiencing limited sound amplification with your glasses, follow these steps to enhance your audio experience:

Step 1: Increase the Volume Levels
Start by ensuring the volume levels on your glasses are appropriately set. For instructions on adjusting the eyewear volume, check this.

Step 2: Select a Different Preset
If the volume adjustment isn't sufficient, consider switching to a different preset. You can do this directly from the App home page. Refer to this for detailed steps.

Step 3: Adjust Background Noise Levels
If you're still not satisfied, try increasing the background noise setting from "Lowered" to "Standard" through the App home page. For guidance, see this.

Step 4: Perform the Calibration guided process
If you haven't performed the Calibration guided process yet, or if it’s been a while since the last "Calibration", it’s a good idea to do so now. For information on "Calibration" and its benefits, check out this.

I get intermitted sound amplification. What should I do?

If you're experiencing intermittent amplification with your Nuance Audio™ Glasses, follow these steps to improve sound quality:

Step 1: Check the battery level
Your glasses might be low on power. Charge them and wait for the LED to light up. For details, see: How to charge your glasses.

Step 2: Restart the glasses
If charging doesn't help, try turning the glasses off and on again.

Step 3: Factory reset the glasses
If the issue persists, perform a factory reset. See: How to reset your glasses.

Note: Intermittent amplification may occur in strong winds, which can affect all hearing support devices.
