How can I force restart my glasses?

If the Glasses are unresponsive and don't respond to user inputs, please follow this procedure to restart the Glasses:

STEP 1: Press and hold the button on the right temple for 12 seconds until the Glasses shuts down.

STEP 2: Press and hold the button for 2 seconds to power the Glasses on again.

How can I factory reset my glasses?

You can factory reset your glasses in two ways:

Using the App
a. Open the App.
b. In the home page, click on the icon located at the bottom right of the app's home page "Menu".
c. Select "Settings".
d. Within Settings, select the "My Glasses" section, and scroll down to "Factory Reset".
e. Confirm the "Factory Reset".

Using the Glasses
a. Press the button 7 times during the pairing process (How can I pair my Nuance Audio Glasses to the App?)
b. The LED on the right temple will turn purple, indicating that the glasses are being factory reset.

Important Warning: Please note that performing a factory reset will restore the device to its original factory settings. This includes the following changes: original audio configuration, "Calibration", paired devices. Also, please be aware that after the factory reset operation is completed, it is necessary to wait for 1 minute before turning the glasses on again.

Once the factory reset is completed, you will need to:
a. Forget the Device in the Nuance App.
b. Click on the icon located in the bottom right of the App's home page. Select "Settings", then access the "My Glasses" section, scroll down, and select "Forget these glasses". Please be aware that after the "Forget these glasses" operation is completed, it is necessary to wait for 1 minute before turning the glasses on again.
c. Forget the Device in Your Phone's Bluetooth Menu; for instructions on how to do this, refer to this guide: How can I pair and unpair a device from my cell phone using Bluetooth?
d. Re-pair the Glasses; follow the pairing instructions available here: How to pair Nuance Audio to the App?
e. Re-perform the Calibration guided process; for guidance on how to perform the Calibration guided process, see this guide: What is "Calibration" and what is it useful for?
f. Manually Restore your preferred hearing settings; this includes presets, your own voice settings, etc.

By following these steps, you will successfully reset your glasses and restore your preferred configurations.

I have issues changing the Audio Mode by double-tapping the touch area on my Glasses. What can I do?

If you encounter difficulties in changing the Audio Mode by double-tapping 
the touch area you may try to: 
Use two fingers or four fingers to perform the double-tap.
Wait a couple seconds from one attempt to the other.
