Generic power issues

My glasses are not turning on / seem unresponsive. What should I do?

There are several possible reasons:

• The Glasses may be turned off. To turn them on, slide the power switch on the right temple forward until the red mark is no longer visible. The LED on the right temple will light up, and an audio prompt will announce the battery level.

The LED color also indicates the battery level:

• Green: Battery level above 90%
• Orange: Battery level between 21% and 89%
• Red: Battery level below 20%

If the battery is low, the LED will flash red. The Glasses will automatically turn off when the battery is depleted.

• The battery may be empty. Place the Glasses on the Nuance Audio™ Plus - Charging Pad to recharge them. The Charging Pad LED turns green when the Glasses are fully charged (96% or higher).

If the Glasses are still unresponsive after charging, try restarting them. For instructions, see the FAQ "How can I force restart my Glasses?"

My charging pad is not turning on / seems unresponsive. What should I do?
1. The charging position: Make sure the charging area of the pad is facing up and the glasses are placed flat and properly aligned with the charging area.
2. Connections: Verify the charging pad is securely connected to the cable, and the cable is firmly connected to the transformer. Loose connections can prevent the pad from working.
3. Use an Appropriate power adapter and cable: use a standard USB-C charger or USB-C power source (minimum 5V) to connect the supplied charging pad and USB-C cable
4. Transformer: Ensure the transformer is functioning and not damaged, as a faulty one can disrupt charging.

My Remote Plus is not turning on / seems unresponsive. What should I do?

If your Remote Plus is unresponsive or does not turn on, the first step is to check if the battery is correctly positioned in its compartment. Alternatively, consider replacing the battery if it's been about six months. To replace the battery:

1. Open the battery compartment:
Use a pin or toothpick to gently open the battery compartment.

2. Replace the battery:
Remove the old battery with a pin or toothpick, and insert a new CR2450 battery, ensuring the correct orientation.

3. Close the compartment:
Slide the battery compartment door back in place until it clicks securely.

4. Test the remote:
Try turning it on again. If it's still unresponsive, ensure the new battery is working or explore additional troubleshooting options.
